That was the wise advice a grad student gave me and my fellow McNair students about handling your finances in grad school. She said, "live like a student now, so that you can live like you want later." Simple right? No! lol. I mean don't get me wrong, i'm not in a ton of debt...in fact i just have my credit card to pay off. When i saw it at the beginning of the year, i thought...no prob, i'll have that sucker paid off by may easily! A few shopping sprees, manis, pedis, flights later...i am now thinkin, "october for sure!" lol. Sigh, hopefully i will soon let go of my undergrad ways and spend my money more efficiently.
Not too much new in my life since my last post. I've begun doing experiments (or should i say failing experiments) in the Geahlen lab...slowly losing my mind (only 4.5years to go, right??). I think i need to schedule a vacay (perhaps next May is a better guestimate for when i'll pay my credit card off ;))

Currently looking forward to: THE WEEKEND!!! I get to meet Brady, Will's black son! (and by Will's black son, i mean his black lab puppy)
