Home at Last

After weeks of putting it off, I finally met with Dr. Geahlen (the PI of my first rotation) and joined his lab :-D It felt like such a huge weight off my shoulder, to know that I finally have a home on campus. It's nerdy, but I'm sooo excited to begin the research; I think I'm going to like it (at least for 2 years until i hate being here and just want to graduate ;)) Not to mention the fact that I'll be able to bug Leela and Su Sien until my heart's content. lol (I know you two are cringing as you read this!). Exciting plans for this weekend? None. lol, I'll be going to hear Jane Goodall (the ape lady) speak and then I'm going to visit Will and try to con him into seeing Horton Hears A Who (will I ever grow up?).

What I'm looking Forward to: The end of this semester. It's crawling to an end, but I can't wait to be done and just focus on my research this summer. (studying is overrated!! hmph)
