Things that Really Grind My Gears...

As you may or may not no, a few weeks ago, Alfie (my jeep) got punched in tha bumper by a pickup truck...damn bullies. Anywho long story short, Alfie is at tha Auto Doc. gettin his bum fixed and as of 8am this morning, I was car-less :( After two excruciating hours, I brokedown and decided to do something about it (i'm weak, i know)...so I got the insurance company to hook me up with Enterprise for a temp car. Everything went smoothly, yada yada yada, enterprise would pick me up at 1pm to take me over to get tha rental car. Great, right? no! lol. Uggh, so at friggin' 1:15 this guy calls like, "uhhhh, hi, i'm so and so from the South Lafayette (where tha hell is south lafayette even at? lol i didn't know it existed) Enterprise. West lafayette is busy so they asked me to come and get you, can you give me directions?" obviously this poor guy didn't know he was talking to a directionally impaired person (and i was soon to find out that i also was talking to a fellow directionally impaired person). Gave him tha address and 30+ min and a few wrong turns later tha guy picks me up. At this point, I'm furious because I needed to get tha car, stop at the auto shop to grab my parking pass out of alfie, eat lunch and be back in lab by 3pm and it was currently 1:45. I remained calm though because I figured,at least I'll get a super sweet rental car...i mean tha guy picked me up in a fancy '07 PT Cruiser so mine can't be much worse, right? I get to Enterprise, fill out the paper work and the guy walks me out to the car saying, "it's a sports car....kind of." Kind of? lol, how is a car 'kind of' a sports car? He brings me to an ugly mazda something or another and by "kind of" he meant, "not at all, it's just a small piece of shit." This thing didn't come with ANY extras! No power windows or doors, and no cruise control! I didn't even think that was an option in automatic cars! This thing makes Lala (my old '94 saturn) look like a luxury car! and for those of you who knew my saturn, that isn't sayin much!!! Lol, i'm never renting a car through insurance again...i just want my Alfie back!
